Finally….. it’s hanging!

That message came from Petra after a long day of building up on Art The Hague. And not only the building up of the Art fair took some time….

About two years ago we first came together, Petra, Irma and myself. I contacted Petra with ‘a good idea’. When we met in the gallery and I pitched my idea, Petra and Irma started laughing because they had exactly the same idea. To launche a web shop for photography with easy access for seller and buyer. Fine art photography as art on the wall available for everyone. But what should it look like? With what conditions did we want to work? How could we set up a good web shop? Since all three of us were being totally unexperienced, it took us quite a while to figure these things out. But we did! Our concept developed more to the point: unframed prints, affordable for costumers and fair share with the photographers we work with. And that is what UnframEditions stands for.

Let’s hope it will grow into a beautiful flow of photography, from maker to unframeditions and to many living rooms.
